September 29, 2006: LifeGrid Internet Newsletter

Dear Customer:

Welcome to the new LifeGrid Internet monthly newsletter.  We will be using our newsletter for multiple purposes.  As technology and equipment change, we want to quickly inform you of upcoming changes you may need to make within your own email accounts or web sites to accommodate the changes.  In addition, should there be any scheduled outages due to equipment upgrades or potential virus threats – this newsletter will notify you immediately.  Look for this and important technology information in our “Tech Corner”.

We will also be reminding you of all of the services LifeGrid Internet provides so we can be your single source for data connectivity, email and web hosting, design and marketing.

Recently we included an offer in our monthly statements for free web site consultation for Search Engine Optimization.  Due to the overwhelming response, we’re extending this offer through the end of the year.  We want all LifeGrid Internet customers to be on the front pages of the search engines.  If you’ve invested money in a web site – let us make sure it’s seen!!!

Please feel free to provide feedback about our newsletter or send a suggestion of information you’d like us to include in future issues.

Thank you for your patronage – we appreciate the opportunity to provide you GREAT service!

Good Cause of the Month

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  October 20 was officially declared National Mammography Day on June 13, 2006.

From Senate Resolution 508 (sponsored by Senator Joe Biden):

“And to those women who are reluctant to have a mammogram, I say let National Mammography Day serve as a reminder to discuss this question each year with your physician.  New scientific studies that are published and new mammography techniques that are developed may affect your decision on this matter from one year to the next.”  Click on the pink ribbon for more information and please continue to support:

On a personal note – while I’m not telling my age - after speaking at length with my own physician, I’ve just made an appointment for my first mammogram, scheduled December 5 - and long overdue. -DB
